Sadly, “American Psycho” and “The Rules of Attraction” did not get a crossover. The manufacturing reduce a scene that includes Sean Bateman (Marcel Van Der Beek) speaking to his brother Patrick Bateman in “The Rules of Attraction.” Alternatively, they shot the scene, and the ones curious can watch it online. Casper Van Dien from “Starship Soldiers” portrays the position of Patrick Bateman.
Avary reached out to Bale about returning to the position for a cameo within the movie.
