In July 2021, Twitter used to be swarmed via memes and jokes about “The Beach That Makes You Old”, together with a paraphrase of the Shrek tune “All-Superstar” via Damage Mouth.
In spite of this, the real virality of the meme wasn’t but attained till 2023.
On February twentieth, 2023, a video used to be uploaded to YouTube via Zach Silberberg, titled “Joe Rogan Went To The Beach That Makes You Old (feat. Ben Shapiro)”, depicting a made-up dialog between the 2 other people about “The Beach That Makes You Old”.
3 days later the video used to be shared on TikTok via @aiartificialartist, marking the start of the pattern at the platform. Within the following months, numerous videos used the unique sound of the video, whilst others recreated the dialog themselves, or made other parodies about “The Beach That Makes You Old.”
The meme reacted its height in April 2023, and has been declining since, even if some more moderen variations can also be encountered each on TikTok and YouTube.
