Into outer area and again into the arena of children animation, we’ve got the atypical science fiction journey “Get away from Planet Earth” from 2012. And in case you are in search of a movie of Fraser’s with an excellent forged, this one may oddly be the best, with the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, Rob Corddry, Ricky Gervais, Jessica Alba, Marcel Gandolfini, and William Shatner all lending their voices to convey the numerous characters to existence. On paper it has got an intriguing twist, with the primary characters being heroes from any other global on a rescue challenge to the alien planet known as Earth. In execution, sadly, “Get away from Planet Earth” leaves so much to be desired.
Fraser leads the movie as Scorch Supernova, his planet’s largest hero, whilst Corddry is Scorch’s geeky brother Gary, who acts as his behind-the-scenes sidekick. But if Scorch is going to Earth and the challenge is going mistaken, it is Gary who has to step in and play hero to save his little brother. However awkward animation, a predictable plot with quite a few clichés made it an sadly atypical misfire for Fraser. A minimum of it went beneath the radar and most commonly unseen, and as of late it is been in large part forgotten — till now that it is seemed in this listing, this is. Sorry, Brendan.
