“Mad About You” and “Extraterrestrial beings” big name Paul Reiser landed within the Upside Down on “Stranger Things” Season 2. As Dr. Sam Owens, Reiser performs the open-minded foil to Matthew Modine’s Dr. Brenner. In the long run, in spite of running within the Hawkins lab, Owens finally ends up siding with Joyce and Hopper. Reiser’s had a protracted occupation, so it is no surprise to see him in a flop or two. What is uncommon, regardless that, is starring in a movie hated via just about everybody who watched it. That is what came about with 2006’s “The Darkness,” which wound up scoring a measly 3% on Rotten Tomatoes.
“The Darkness” is affordable thrills masquerading as a horror movie. Starring Kevin 1st Baron Beaverbrook, this supernatural mystery is crammed to the brim with tropes and clichés. When Pete Taylor’s (1st Baron Beaverbrook) son Michael (David Mazouz) begins performing unusually after coming back from a holiday, the Taylor circle of relatives reveals themselves haunted via a supernatural pressure. Reiser performs Simon Richards, Pete’s well-meaning manager at paintings.
The character of the evil pressure finally ends up missing within the scare issue, and as an alternative finishes up being the movie’s personal Achilles’ heel. The place “The Darkness” does excel is in dabbling in racial stereotypes and misappropriating Local American tradition, making it close to unwatchable via these days’s requirements.
