Over the process just a couple years, Leslie Nielsen seems two times in two separate roles as a visitor on “Homicide, She Wrote.” The comedian legend and megastar of “Plane” and “The Bare Gun” made his two showings at the thriller display within the time between making his style spoof masterpieces.
Nielsen’s first look is within the display’s first actual season within the episode “My Johnny Lies over the Ocean.” In this nautical journey, Jessica unearths herself on a cruise together with her mourning pal Pamela Crane following her husband’s suicide. Simply when atypical oddities get started shooting up, Johnny’s organic mom is located lifeless at the send, an eerie accident made spookier through the staging of the dying to appear to be a suicide. Nielsen performs the captain of the send on this caper.
The comic returns in Season 3 as David Everett, a playboy and ex-love of Jessica’s, who turns into the primary suspect in a chain of assaults. In a humorous twist, the main points of this episode, entitled “Lifeless Guy’s Gold,” may be nautical, this time having to do with sunken ships and their treasure.
