It used to be first offered to Reddit on February 28th, 2019, when a person posted a screenshot of the thing into the r/meow_irl sub.
How did unfold?
Memes quickly adopted, with symbol macros showing at the r/me_irl sub as early as April, 2019.
Later in 2019, the structure would unfold to websites reminiscent of Twitter, Tumblr and Imgur.
A well-liked iteration of the meme may also be tied to Bernie Sanders, customers online had created symbol macros of the flesh presser debating if “Cats could have salami”.
