To make the vacuum
The goal of this first exercise will be to put aside for a few minutes dance classes, shopping lists and other meetings in order to relearn how to take time for oneself and let go of the tensions that have sometimes become painful.
We will start with what she calls a “body scan”. Sitting comfortably, eyes closed, without risk of being interrupted, we will release our body starting from the top of our head. Mentally, we will then follow a path of relaxation all along the body. The muscles of the skull and face will be relaxed, and the jaw will be loosened. One will let the relaxation reach the nape of the neck, the cervical vertebrae, weigh down the shoulders, relax the spine, feel one’s breathing by relaxing the thorax, relax the abdomen and the lower back, free the pelvis, relax the perineum to let the relaxation go down to the end of the feet.
Apprehending one’s body
To regain self-confidence, getting physically closer to your body is good exercise. Once again, you’ll make sure you’re not disturbed. Ideally naked, you will take the time to touch your body and become aware of it, without facing the mirror. Applying your moisturizer is a good opportunity to do this exercise. This time, instead of rushing to spread it on your body, you will massage yourself, appreciate its curves, and use your senses to enjoy the moment. Once this is done, we will stretch by crossing our fingers and holding them up over our head with our palms facing the sky. Stretch your arms straight out in front of you, going up to above your head and then down again.
Stimulate your sexual energy
As explained above, everyday life and fatigue are often responsible for this lack of desire and decreased sexual energy. Thanks to this visualization exercise, we will be able to reconnect to our desires and our own desires.
Sitting or lying down, we will practice the “body scan”, and we will carry out slow and deep breaths imagining that they start from the sexual zone and go up along the body.
Then we take the time to visualize ourselves immediately after a positive and pleasant sexual intercourse. We will imagine all our pleasant sensations of the moment: a relaxed body, the impression of being on a cloud, taste, smells, etc… We will then leave the fantasies and erotic situations that could bring us to this state. The goal is to become aware of our real desires and what stimulates us.
